How did you end up being an artist?

I do tons of different styles of art, so it's sometimes hard to put myself into one genre. Over the years I have worked as a Professional Glassblower, and Flash designer. I paint, sculpt, and sew. I also get bored really easily!

Who are some of your greatest artistic influences?

60s design, The Hiberts, Shawn Wolfe, Robert williams, old kid's cartoons, pop art

What music do you have in heavy rotation right now?

Lots: Caribou, Panda Bear, The Millenium, the Chills, the Beach Boys, the Bran Flakes, Hawkwind, Holly Golightly, Jaques Dutronc, People Like Us

What do you do for fun?

I like to make things and play with my kids.

When was the last time you went fishing?

I'm embarrassed. (I don't remember, a REALLY long time ago) I'm not a fisherperson....but I have no problem with that!

Do you have any words of wisdom for new or aspiring artists?

Making art is SUPPOSED to be fun!
